The ARRI ALEXA Mini LF is a professional digital cinema camera that merges the image quality of large format 4.5K with the convenience of a compact body. Featuring native 4K recording, wide dynamic range, and advanced lens support, it's ideal for high-level cinematic productions.

The ARRI ALEXA Mini LF marks a significant step forward in cinematic technology, combining the ALEXA LF's large format sensor with the compact and versatile design of the ALEXA Mini. This digital cinema camera is designed to meet the needs of cinematographers demanding high resolution as well as filmmakers seeking an agile and easy-to-handle camera.

At the heart of the Mini LF lies a 4.5K sensor that captures images with native 4K resolution in various sensor modes, including LF Open Gate, LF 16:9, and LF 2.39:1. The resulting images are characterized by rich detail, natural skin tone rendition, and a smooth, uniform bokeh, courtesy of the sensor's large pixel size.

The support for LPL mount lenses, available separately, has been one of ARRI's most significant innovations, allowing lenses to be more compact and lightweight. This translates into greater operational flexibility and reduced physical strain for operators. The ARRI Signature Prime lens range, also available separately, offers a wide choice of focal lengths and exceptional image quality, with true-to-life skin tones and an organic look that's pleasing to the eye.

The integration of wireless connectivity, inherited from the ALEXA SXT W, greatly simplifies setup on set, reducing cable clutter and the overall weight of the equipment. This feature is particularly advantageous in complex shooting environments or when rapid configuration changes are necessary.

On the acquisition front, the ALEXA Mini LF offers a variety of recording options in MXF ARRIRAW and MXF ProRes, supporting 1 TB Codex capture drives. A base sensitivity of EI 800, combined with 16-bit processing and a dynamic range of over 14 stops, ensures that the footage is ready for future post-production needs, including HDR grading.

Lastly, the Mini LF not only boasts a sophisticated internal ND filter system but is also fully compatible with existing ARRI workflows and supports ARRI Look files and LDS-2, LDS-1, or Cooke /i lens data. This ensures that the camera seamlessly integrates into any existing ARRI production, providing a smooth and uninterrupted working experience.
